I am Andreas Høivold, was born in Sunderland, but I have lived most of my life in Norway and 100 % consider myself a Norwegian.
After having had a few normal jobs in my life, I turned to poker in 2006.
I quit my job in an IT company to go for poker full time. From the start all went great and I never looked back.
From 2009-15 I lived in Las Vegas. That was great for poker, but I missed Norway - both the nature and the ocean, but mainly friends and family.
Even before moving to Vegas I have had a thought about making a database about everything that had to do with poker. I worked on the project that ended up as 1stSpade.com for years.
Today I live in Kristiansand in the south of Norway. I like it here! I am now part of a small group that runs a circle in the new poker app, Pokio.
